One of the biggest mistake most networkers do is lack of tracking.
When you meet someone wether on phone, social media or offline
it counts as a new contact and having a logbook for tracking conversations, follow ups and list building is def one thing that we should all be doing daily.
Imagine the quality of your relationships and connections if you remembered your first ever chat content, or that exciting news someone share with you and you follow up with how did that go?
People often connect but don't remember what they discussed.
By tracking yous how people you care , it helps with trust and also if those people become your customer, affiliate or long time friend you can learn so much about them this way and use this to your advantage if for example someone is a repeat customer and sends you referrals or a new member hits a goal you can then use some of the content to send a nice card, gift or give them a shoutout that connects with something you previously discussed and tracked.
When you talk to hundreds / thousands of people and you keep building your list there's no way to remember all of it.
This is one thing I wish I would of known and done from the beginning and I am working hard in 2019 to do this daily now.
You can do this on your cell, laptop or if you will remember to bring a log book many uses note pads for the list and brings it everywhere with them and takes a few seconds after/during each
call, chat or meeting so its easier and more professional to follow up, give better and keep track of your daily exposures.
Productivity tracking : Not only does the conversation you have counts but another thing most successful networkers and coaches I've learned from has been doing is tracking their daily productivity.
Here are what many of us are tracking weekly to make sure we never run out of prospects.
1. New contacts
2. Presentation (How many are seeing a video, your tour, a presentation?)
3. Follow up
4. New customer / affiliate
5. Self development ( We all know how this is important in life n business!)
If you want your business to grow and keep growing I'd suggest to begin tracking and many has accountability partners to make sure they keep on track as we all know this can get easy to forget when life gets busy. Make it a PRIORITY and see what it does for your business :D
