Hey guys here are just a few tips when approaching small business` for our pet products particularly veterinarians, pet groomers, pet training centers, animal shelters, dog boarders etc. to discuss wholesale purchases. The profit margins both in dollars and percentages are really attractive to these business owners!
Know you #`s think Shark Tank. When you can show a business owner the #`s and how they can increase their bottom line it makes it very difficult to turn you down. Wholesale #`s are great profit margins but there are some really great #`s in our Director & Executive packs when it comes to pet products.
Director Pack has an option to buy any combination of oils and or treats up 8 products. With shipping & handling this comes to $211.95 or a total cost of $26.49 per bottle/treat. If the business owner sells the product for $39.00 per bottle/treat that`s a profit margin of $12.51 or 47% per bottle/treat.
Those are very compelling #`s! Now the #`s are even better on the Executive package where a small business owner can INVEST ( not buy ) always use the word invest when talking with the gate keeper, up to any combo of pet oil or treats for $614.95 ( this includes S & H for a true cost ).
This brings their cost per bottle/treat down to $25.62 per product. Again, if they sell the pet oil/treat at $39.00 they are making a $13.37 or 52% profit margin on every bottle/treat they sell.
Guys, these #`s are big profit margins for a small business in the pet space and I believe that there can be a lot of money made not only from the business but once they understand how they can ad a very profitable product to their small business they begin to see a bigger picture and start looking into how much they can make on the other products we offer.
Remember, these small business owners and they are very risk averse and entrepreneurial. We should be taking advantage of their openness to making money.
Lastly, always start off by offering the Executive package and if they are not open to spending $600 + then back down to the Director pack @ $199.

As for a document for us to use I say we should be requesting it from the company so we get a compliant document with the company brand and approval. The more demand they get the more they will see a need for it so let's ask support and compliance if they have a printable document for us to take offline when presenting wholesale :)
